Speaker Series:
Mothering Teens with more confidence and calm

Are you the mother of a tween or teenager?  Me, too.  It can be hard (and also rewarding) work.  These important developmental years present so many challenges, for them and us.  With all the emotional turbulence and social pressures, we mothers can be left feeling confused, frustrated, unappreciated, and often left anxious.

So, how can you minimize your anxiety to build a better relationships with your children?  By developing skills that teach you how to parent with more compassion, confidence and CALM.   The parenting skills I teach are centered on how WE react to their behaviors.  What if you could have less of your own melt downs, lashing out or losing control?  I work with moms to discover how your behaviors might be negatively influencing your parenting approach.   Do you recognize any of these parenting Saboteurs:  The Worrier, The Controller, The High Achiever, or The Pleaser?

My workshop introduces you to the emotional intelligence skills which include:

  • Managing your parenting anxiety

  • Forgiving yourself and getting rid of “mom guilt”

  • Facing your parenting challenges with more positivity and a calmer household

  • Enjoying a better relationship with your teens

The Workshop

In this 90-minute workshop
(in person or online), we will explore how to parent with more compassion, confidence and CALM.

When we, as mothers, focus on our own emotional wellness, we become the confident and calm home base our kids need to thrive.
